Christmas Beer (クリスマスビール)

What do you drink at Christmas? Champagne, wine or cocktails?

Of course, these drinks are really delicious and suit the atmosphere of Christmas, but if you'd like to enjoy something different, I strongly recommend Christmas beer.

At this time of year, we can get limited edition beer brewed for the Christmas season by various companies in liquor sections of department stores. Generally, these beers seem to be higher in alcohol content and more rich in taste than regular beer.

So far this year, I bought three bottle of Christmas beer: ANCHOR SPECIAL ALE (5.5%), DELIRIUM Christmas (10.0%) and St Bernardus Christmas Ale (10.0%). Though ANCHOR SPECIAL ALE is slightly light in alcohol, I think all these beers taste rich and fruity and accompany Christmas meals well.

In less than a week, Christmas will come. How many more bottles of Christmas beer can I drink this year..?

もちろん、これらのお酒はとても美味しくてクリスマスの雰囲気にうってつけなのですが、
今年は違ったお酒を楽しみたいと思っている方に是非お勧めするのが、クリスマスビールです。

この時期、デパートのお酒コーナーに行くと、各社がクリスマスシーズンに向けて醸造した限定ビールが手に入ります。
これらは一般的に通常販売されているビールよりも若干アルコール度数が高く、味も濃厚な仕上がりになっているようです。

今年、これまで僕が購入したクリスマスビールは"アンカースペシャルエール(5.5%)"、"デリリウム クリスマス(10.0%)"、"セント ベルナデス クリスマス(10.0%)"です。
アンカースペシャルエールは若干アルコール度数が控えめでしたが、どのビールも濃厚でフルーティーな味わいでクリスマスの料理にも良く合うのではと思いました。

クリスマスまであと一週間足らず。今年はあと何種類のクリスマスビールを飲めるでしょうか...
