CHIMAY BLUE（シメイ ブルー）

We'd like to introduce a nice beer which LBE Beer Club recommends to you in this blog.

This time, we'll introduce CHIMAY BLUE.
This beer is made at a monastery in the town of Chimay in the south of Belgium. Portwine-like colour, fruity aromatic flavour, and a high alcohol content of 9% are features of this beer. Another feature is this is vintage beer which changes its taste by maturation.

In addition to BLUE, there are RED and WHTE in CHIMAY's lineup. Both RED and WHITE have different characters from BLUE and are nice beers as well. So we'll introduce them to you another time.

We think it is comparatively easy for us to buy CHIMAY BLUE at Odakyu department store in Machida and other places which sell imported beer. So if you are interested in this beer, please try it and tell us your impression.

このﾌﾞﾛｸﾞでは、LBE Beer Clubがお勧めするおいしいビールを皆さんに紹介していきたいと思います。

今回紹介するのはCHIMAY BLUE(シメイ ブルー)です。
このビールはベルギー南部のシメイという街にある修道院で造られています。
ポートワインのような濃い色とフルーティーな味と香り、そして9%という高いアルコール度数が特徴です。また、熟成することで味わいが変化するヴィンテージビールであることもこのビールの特徴です。

シメイにはブルーの他に、レッド、ホワイトというビールもあります。
それぞれブルーとは異なる個性を持っていて、とてもおいしいビールですので、また別の機会に紹介したいと思います。

シメイブルーは町田の小田急百貨店の他、輸入ビールを取り扱っている店によく置いてある比較的入手し易いビールですので、興味のある方は是非飲んでみて、感想を聞かせてください。
