In the past, there were two great people named Michael Jackson: One was the worldwide pop superstar, the other was the world's leading beer critic and described as "The Beer Hunter".
The latter drank all kinds of beer around the world and wrote many books about them. Especially, he made a great contribution to introducing Belgian beer all over the world.
And it's a famous story that he was sometimes called "The King of Hop" because he had the same name as musician Michael Jackson.
To my regret, he died aged 65 in 2007 but his great work shines like the golden colour of "Pilsners" and will never fade in the future.
Let's make a toast to "The King of Hop" tonight!!

かつて、マイケル・ジャクソンという名の偉大な人物が2人いました。
1人は言わずと知れた世界のポップス界のスーパースターであるマイケル・ジャクソン、
そしてもう1人は世界的なビール評論家であり、"ビアハンター"と称されるマイケル・ジャクソンです。
後者のマイケル・ジャクソンは世界のありとあらゆるビールを飲み、それらについて数多くの著作を残しました。特に、ベルギービールの魅力を全世界に知らしめたのは彼の功績です。
また、ミュージシャンのマイケル・ジャクソンと同姓同名であることから、"キングオブホップ"と称されることがあることも有名な話です。
残念ながら2007年に65歳で亡くなってしまいましたが、彼の偉大な功績はこれからもピルスナービールの黄金色のように輝き、色褪せることは無いでしょう。
